Food is good and people friendly.Definitely a "local" eatery, but if passing by do not be afraid to stop in; it is small and welcoming. Fair pricing too.

Delightful little diner that really makes you feel welcomed as soon as you walk in the door. My boyfriend and I came here for Sunday brunch and were not disappointed. Their prices are cheap and the food is good, what more could you want? The waitress we had was so friendly and made sure we were taken care of. Even though we ate too much we couldn’t deny a slice of homemade key lime pie, and we definitely didn’t regret it. We had a wonderful experience and will be returning again!

Excellent steak place, it's a bit upscale so dressing up will enhance the experience to enjoy the atmosphere.

Food was delicious! Our server Michelle was excellent (and it was breakfast rush)! Nice, clean establishment and priced very well! A gem in riverview!

Me an my family use to go here all the time. Use to be a really good cheap place to eat real family environment. Now no good the last couple times the service was ok but the food was taking forever an the prices have went up. Which I don't mind the price if the quality is good but it really hasn't been good. Hopefully they can fix the problem soon.

I like Ruth's. Unassuming local family, sit around with friends and receive a appetizing meal. Price is great! It may not be gourmet, it's a no frills, but so friendly, and I've never had issues. Does have wait time for breakfast on weekends and dinner. Visit and enjoy.

Food was good. The service was awesome. The drinks were always full, empty plates removed promptly, servers super nice. Reminded me of a small town diner. Country hospitality.

Great place for some really good food. If you are looking for some comfort food to feel close to home, this is the place to go. Everything I ordered was seasoned well and tasted Great! I look forward to going back to try more of their menu.

Amazing service sub par food

Well if you like good cooking, then don't go here. The steaks tasted old and lacked seasoning. The prime rib looked and tasted like hamburger meat. The green beans obviously came from a can.

So we came here on a referral and sadly was the last time. We had New York strip and honestly it was the worst steak I had in my life. The way the meat was cutting it was clear it was microwaved. It was like chewing on a piece of rubber that tasted like black pepper. I managed to eat 1/3 of it.Turnip greens tasted like, well like no seasoning lol. Parts of them were cool, parts hot, but no flavor. Staff was really nice.

Service is incredible. They truly care about their customers. Food is very good. Nothing fancy. Just darn good!

Disappointed in what was hoping to be a great local restaurant. GF and I came in after church looking for breakfast. We arrived at 1pm by the clock on their wall. Server came over a couple of minutes later, and informed us that breakfast ended at 1pm. They were punctual? Could you have checked? If it was 10-15 minutes after... but well... bummer. Was hungry so decided on the Reuben. Was told no Rye bread. ALL of their melts use Rye! So I get it with Texas toast. Corned beef was rubbery and Sauerkraut tasted like it was stored next to seafood. I guess I was unlucky that day.

Attention Riverview residents, this is a great hole in the wall restaurant. Just had breakfast! Great food and prices. Will come back to try dinner and lunch. Staff is friendly and welcoming. If you want a place that is quiet and cozy, eat here.

I’ve eaten here several times, breakfast, lunch, & dinner. The country fried steak is excellent & their assortment of vegetables are good. Today I had breakfast there, but was not as impressed as I had been before. I had the sausage & cheese omelette, with hash browns & toast. The omelette was made with three eggs & plentiful sausage, but there was only cheese in about 1/3 of the omelette. I’m not sure if the cook ran out of cheese or was having a bad day? The hash browns were good & what can you say about toast & jelly?? I’ll try them again for breakfast, since I’ve had really good food for other meals, but today was below par.

Love their Fried Green Tomatoes, very nice staff. Love it!

Absolutely amazing!!!! Service was above and beyond all expectations. I want to go back tomorrow. Food was great. Seafood feast shrimp, scallops, clams, oysters, deviled crab cakes, and mussels with fries and cole slaw only 20.00. Pineapple cake was homemade. Wish I had room for the homemade yellow cake with buttercream frosting!!!!

They are ok, but very expensive. I think they think they are that good, but they are not. The only thing going for them, are their green fried tomatoes..

Ok..best fried green tomatoes..hit n miss on emreg food. Homestyle is correct. But just ok.

Superb! Wonderful spaghetti dinner with garlic toast and side for under $8! Service was great. Had a feel of a place where they learn everyone's first name.

Horrible in every way. It took entirely took long for my order of a cheese omelette, homefries, and grits. The grits were cold. The homefries weren't seasoned at all. The omelette was underwhelming. My friend ordered the same thing but added french toast. His french toast tasted like bell peppers and onions. And the rest of his breakfast was just as bad. I have no clue how this place has 4.5 stars. Whomever the cooks are clearly hates the owner because they are cooking like warm garbage in the back. I'll never come here again. Don't waste your money. I'm going to stick with First Watch from now on.

Had a late breakfast after church this morning at Ruth’s. Though it was the usual busy Sunday morning, our servers, Pennie and Vicki, were attentive and efficient! Our breakfast was excellent! Great family restaurant!

Loved the country fried steak with gravy

I love everything about Ruth’s. The ladies that work here on a Sunday are the sweetest! We even get hugs when we visit. The food is delicious for the price and it’s just a very affordable place to grab a bite to eat.

Four in our party on Friday 5/10. Arrived at 7:05. Only 2 tables besides ours. Got menus 15 minutes later. waitress took our food order 7:25. Finally received our food and and the one dish was ice cold. My daughter got chicken breast. it was the size of a small donut. One other table behind us sat there with bare feet.Cant believe how much the food and service has deteriorated. Afraid this will be our last visit.

The homemade spaghetti was amazing and garlic Texas toast was a great match.. A house salad makes the perfect fit for a lunch.. Go on In and try it..

This is a great hidden gem to get great food at inexpensive prices! Penny is usually our waitress and she is wonderful! I wish all waitresses were like her!

My waitress was amazing! She was by herself serving everyone and still took care of us! I wish I got her name but thank you sooo much. The food was really good as well. I ordered the pork chops and cheese sticks. Wish the chops had a little more juice but overall we were definitely satisfied. We will be back :)
